2 Month Battery Life!

So I've read elsewhere about people having to replace the battery after 2 months and though maybe that was a fluke. I thought it was odd that the red-dot is a constant-on with auto-brightness adjustment based on ambient light - but then I read where the typical battery life is close to 2 years. 2 YEARS! Superb!
Well I can tell you here and now, the red dot battery lasted right about 2 months. It was a Panasonic battery that I've now swapped with an energizer - hoping to see 2 years out of this bad boy. Heck, I'd even be satisfied with 1 year. But if were talking a few months and another battery replacement is needed - that's pushing the boundaries of false advertisement. Just to make sure I wrote the date on the battery before replacing it. Otherwise, the Hellcat is a nice pistol in a small package.
The trigger is squishy and leaves something to be desired, but that's kinda the standard these days with striker-fired compacts. I can tell because I have both Hellcats. They did upgrade the trigger but it's still not as good as I would like it to be. The compensator make a little bit of a difference compared to the regular Hellcat but, if I had to pay for a threaded barrel and compensator, I'm not sure it would be worth it to me.
All in all, the package is worth the money as long as the red dot can hold-up to its stated metric 2 years.

Purchased this to train on using a pistol red dot. The gun was very well finished and was 100% reliable at the range through 100 rounds. The red dot was on paper at 15 yards and was easy to zero after that. The comp did its job just fine in keeping the muzzle flip down. Follow up shots were a breeze. I would definitely recommend this handgun.
