The Mark IV features a simple, one-button takedown for quick and easy field-stripping and proper chamber-to-muzzle cleaning. Cold hammer-forged barrel results in ultra-precise rifling that provides exceptional accuracy and longevity. Internal cylindrical bolt construction ensures permanent sight-to-barrel alignment and higher accuracy potential than conventional moving-slide designs. Contoured ejection port and easy-to-grasp bolt ears allow for durable and reliable operation round after round. Accurate sighting system features a drilled and tapped receiver for Weaver- or Picatinny-style rail for easy mounting of optics. Ambidextrous manual safety can be converted to left-side only with included washer. Features a conveniently located push-button magazine release on the left side of the frame. Pressing a button in the back of the frame allows the barrel-receiver assembly to tilt up and off the grip frame without the use of tools.

Pistol arrived very quickly. Price was fair. Internet sales only stores are the only way to order online, in my opinion. I don’t want my new purchased firearm to be sitting in a counter and handled before being boxed up and shipped to me.
Have always wanted a mark4 target pistol suppressed. Shot the gun today for the 1st time and its the most accurate pistol I've fired. So glad I got the Ruger 40178 its perfect.
I have always wanted a Ruger 22 Mark series pistol. Recently purchased a Sparrow 22 suppressor and had to go with the Ruger Mark4. Beautiful, well made pistol that shoots 1 hole at 7yds easily. Trigger doesn't bother me at all, and it is the perfect suppressor host. I love it and am so glad I treated myself after starting my new job.
