(5 out of 5) Russian Red
by from Festus, MO on

I have been looking for a good price on this Russian red version of this rifle. I placed an order and it came exceptionally quick. The wood is definitely not as dark red as in the picture. It’s more of a light red color With no finish. It’s just stained. To darken it I used boiled linseed oil, and after about five coats, it’s the deep, dark red that I was hoping for, it looks amazing now with the red stock contrasting against the black metal

I absolutely love this gun. It's beautiful and always performs. Don't believe the detractors that talk bad about American-made AKs, namely Century Arms. I'll put this gun up against any of the top manufacturers. If you have to see it pass the 5000 round mark, just check out Rob Ski's YouTube.
