Nice fit and finish. The tolerances are tight, operation is smooth, parts are top notch, and it appears to be well made. So far I’ve only shot about 80 rounds of PMC Bronze 230gr FMJ through it with zero malfunctions and it’s comfortable to shoot. Trigger is good and the sights are accurate out of the box. For the quality of this basic 1911 it’s an excellent value. I’m very satisfied with purchasing this firearm.
This Springfield is perfect in fit, finish and reliability and at this price with the LE discount is an absolute steal. I have 1911s in the $5-600 range and some in the $2-3000 range and 100% honest this 1911 gives up nothing in comparison to the higher end guns other than the sticker price. Highly recommend to anyone on the fence. The transaction was smooth sailing and from the time of purchase to delivery was 8 days total.
