This revolver has become my EDC gun. I am and old guy with reduced strength in my hands. I grew up with revolvers so a transition to a snub nose was no problem. I wanted 6 rounds minimum, high-quality fit and finish, light weight and a hammer-less model. I got it all in this Taurus LW 38 Special. This gun is as high a quality as any of today's snub-nosed models and considerably cheaper than most of them. Taurus has really improved their game in the past few years. I would not hesitate to recommend this pistol to a friend or for that matter to buy another one, should I need to.
Very happy with this gun! Fun to shoot and has a decent trigger for a snub-nosed revolver. I swapped out the factory grip for a Hogue grip and it feels perfect.
