Walther Spreewerk P38 9mm Police Trade-In Pistol WWII Manufacture

These photos represent the general condition of the firearm for sale, a Spreewerk (German-Occupied Czechoslovakia) P38 9mm Pistol.  This particular example has the "Eagle over 88" stamps on the slide and frame displaying the production location.

The Serial Number (#814A) indicates that this is a model produced in 1943 during World War II, most likely in the first quarter of that year.  There is general discoloration and surface rust in places; however Spreewerk P38's were known for a slightly less uniform finish than their Walther and Mauser-made counterparts.
