The features and affordability make The GFY-1 one of the top-selling bullpup shotguns in the firearm industry – and now it’s even more affordable with the addition of the GFBP.
The GFBP is a compact and versatile bullpup shotgun in the classic bullpup configuration, with the action and magazine located behind the trigger. This bullpup shotgun design allows for a longer barrel without adding extra length, making it easy to hold close to your body for better maneuverability. At just 3 inches longer than the Mossberg 590 Shockwave, the 29.5-inch GFBP bullpup shotgun is perfect for navigating narrow corridors in home defense and tactical scenarios.
The GFBP bullpup shotgun is compatible with MKA-1919 magazines and accepts 2 3/4 and 3-inch 12ga ammo. The GFBP features adjustable flip-up sights, as well as a bottom Picatinny rail for mounting accessories. Red dots and reflex sights can also be installed on the GFBP for faster target acquisition.
Finally had the chance to run 20 rounds through the unit. I used high-brass, 1300 fps rounds, and both the included 5-round and the additional 20-round drum mags. It cycled perfectly and totally lived up to my expectations. Only downsides are: 1. Some assembly required out of the box, with minimal info on attaching the slide knob. 2. Trying to use the sights was tough because of the height of the sights. Not an issue for me, since I'm using it for home defense, point-and-shoot vs. hunting. 3. All the GForce videos are for the GFY1. Slight differences in the two. Other than those, this is a great price/performance bullpup.
