Ok, I purchased this rifle based on the photos from Ruger website. Stock looks very shiny comparing to what it really is. In reality it is a dark brown color pretty much the same as color of the basic carbine model stock. Everything else is fine. Receiver is silver. However the same issue do not expect barrel to be shiny. It is sad gray color. Not a polished stainless still or chrome the way it looks on the photo. I would suggest to change sights right away to buy Williams Fire Sights or upgrade even further. Standard sights are giving poor picture in a low light. Hmm... what to add. This pretty much it. Not sure if it helped.
