I learned about this series while visiting Remington’s NY factory in 2017. I started looking for one soon after. I found one in NH to look over. These are the last series of 1911s made in NY by Remington. They are forged frame and slide guns unlike Remington’s AL production. I got the 5” Government model from SOSS and liked it so much I hunted down new Commanders version.
