The brand new 1911 Stainless Steel Range Officer from Springfield is everything you need in a competition model, at an affordable price and easily upgradable for your future needs.
Topped with a fully-adjustable rear target sight, the Springfield Stainless Steel Ranger Officer 45ACP gives you maximum flexibility. The beavertail grip safety, extended trigger and flat mainspring housing allow the pistol to sit in your hand comfortably for long periods of time at the range. This single-sided, extended thumb safety keeps things simple and functional. It all adds up to a pistol that will let you seriously compete in a variety of matches.
This pistol has the same quality forged frame and slide as the TRP™ and Trophy Match™ 1911s, and gets the same precision fit as these pistols too. Add in the same stainless steel barrel and bushing, and you have a pistol that shoots well beyond its price tag.

I have had my 1911 for over three years now and I could not be happier. The workmanship is great. The slide is smooth and tight. The sights are very easy to work with and spot on over and over. The trigger pull is so easy and smooth. It surprises you every time. For the money you spend on one of these is a fraction of what they are worth. Just an amazing firearm start to finish.
