The brand new M&P M2.0 40 S&W FDE pistol from Smith & Wesson adds innovative features and enhancements to the respected family of M&P polymer pistols. Highlights of the M&P M2.0 40 S&W FDE pistol include an extended stainless-steel chassis and high grip to barrel bore axis ratio for reduced muzzle rise and faster aim recovery. Performance is further improved with a fine-tuned, crisper trigger, lighter pull and a tactile and audible reset. The pistol includes an aggressively-textured grip and four interchangeable palmswell inserts for optimal hand-fit and trigger reach. The striker-fire, semi-automatic polymer pistol includes two magazines, a limited lifetime warranty and a lifetime service policy.

I have owned my fair share of S&W M&Ps over the past decade - full-size, compact, Shield; all .40 S&W by the way. I'd rate them all as durable, excellent performers and bonus - a great value. But for my no-kidding, SHTF sidearm this one is king. Great grip, control, accuracy, capacity and stopping power all in one package. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a large frame zombie stopper.
P.S. - I have a Springfield 1911 .45ACP as well and love it, but when I can carry twice the load with the S&W M&P with just as much stopping power, I'd be a fool to go tactical with anything less.
I cant find a thing wrong with with this pistol. Arrived sooner then ETA.
Accurate! Powerful! Great to shoot, and the different grips make it fit in the hand perfectly. Ambidextrous magazine release and safeties! Too great of a deal to let pass by!
