The Taurus G2C pistols are reliable. I’ve not had any issues with my 9mm or 40 caliber. They work just as well as my Glocks do! The G2C does have a longer take up in the trigger, but training will get you used to that. The build quality was very nice! The slide was smooth and had no tool marks. There’s a lot of Taurus haters out there, but my experience with the two I have has been great. I ran 50 rds right out of the box, rapid fire, with no problems.
With this price and how great this pistol looks, I had to buy it! And a mail-in rebate too. Basically giving it away. It did take a while for them to ship it out, but when they did, it got here super quick.
She’s fired everything I’ve shot through her, and I’ve found some awesome affordable upgrades. Change out the safety, trigger, and front sights, and she’s good to go, everything else is just preferences. Yay, Taurus. Oh, and as a lady, I love this .40 as my new EDC.
