The 1911A1 "Service" is a classic pistol in .45 ACP with many high-end features at a very reasonable price.
The slide release was a little hard to manipulate, the trigger pull was a tad in consistent, but these were very minor issues, and easily remedied, for a 1911 that cost $299, delivered!! The good news is that with handloads it shoots fist-size offhand groups at 25 yds and feeds everything perfectly whether it was FMJRNs, HPs or those bumpy lead SWCs. I just cannot recommend these enough!
Purchased this on a Flash Sale from Sportman's Outdoor Superstore. It came in a hard plastic case with two magazines, cleaning brush, barrel bushing tool, and instruction manual. I took it out a couple of hours after picking it up from my FFL. I put 50 rounds through it with zero issues. Accurate from the start at 10-15 yards. Ringing steel targets easily. Yes, this is a budget 1911 but for plinking and having fun it is well worth the money. I was very impressed with the fit and finish of the weapon I received. Would recommend this to any of my family and friends that shoot.
Good fit and finish. Came with 2 magazines, case, and cleaning brush and rod. I am very happy with this purchase.
Great looking and functioning 1911. Came with 2, 8 rd mags. Really like this handgun, case is very nice as well. 3rd Tisas 1911 and never been disappointed. Thanks.
I put 250 rounds through this yesterday for the first time. I had two malfunction hitting the slide stop. No slide bit. Accurate and reliable mags, Wilson Combat, Mec-Gar, Colt, and Chip McCormick. Now to be nit picky. 1) I feel some hang up pulling back on slide. 2) When I pull the trigger I feel it in the grip safety. 3) I had to push in the release to insert the Chip McCormick mag. However this is a $329 dollar 1911. So the value is off the charts. Buy it and you’ll be very happy. On mine, I got two mags. I think somebody at the factory made a mistake.
