Let me start by saying I'm normally a Kimber guy, having ordered four from SOSS to date. No need to go into the great service and prices from SOSS, as anyone who purchases from them already knows this. Given the Gear Up sale from Springfield, I looked twice at this firearm. What concerned me was the finish in the picture. I liked everything in the description but just couldn't get over the picture. Boy, was I surprised when this arrived. The Parkerized finish is just stunning. The Cocobolo grips are beautiful and feel great. Tritium sights are another plus, and with the current rebate, a total of six magazines. You just can't go wrong for the price. This firearm feels and shoots fantastic, stunning fit and finish. You will find yourself just admiring this firearm. I will order this in a 9mm when back in stock with no second thoughts.

Has just the features I wanted on a 1911. Put 200 rounds through it with no failures, using both factory mags and Wilson mags. Now my wife wants one, too!

Great gun, very accurate out the box. First shot was a 15 yd bullseye. Nice beavertail lets you have amazing grip. Great pistol. Springfield should be proud.
